PKPprecursor Download

  This method is developed for locating seismic scatterers in the lower mantle, using PKP precursor onsets. For one assumed depth of seismic scattering, the "probability" and "hit counts" at each grid are calculated. The grid(s) with the highest "probability" and a large "hit counts" are considered to be the most probable location(s) where the PKP precursors onsets originate.

 

  The PKPprecursor package developed by Lianxing Wen to locate the seismic scatterers in the Earth's lower mantle can be downloaded here.

  该方法主要用于定位地球下地幔地震散射体。该方法利用台站记录到的PKP前驱波初至到时,计算散射体位于不同深度和水平位置的概率和采样数。拥有最大概率和较大采样数的位置被认为是最有可能产生PKP前驱波初至的散射体所在的地方。

 

  该程序包由温联星开发,用于定位地球下地幔地幔散射体。
